Argentine Lawyer Requests Interpol Red Notice for Hayden Davis Over Libra Token Scandal

An Argentine lawyer, Gregorio Dalbon, has formally requested that Interpol issue a Red Notice for Hayden Davis, the CEO of Kelsier Ventures, due to his involvement in the collapse of the Libra memecoin.

Davis, who played a major role in the launch of the Solana-based Libra token, is being linked to a pump-and-dump scheme that resulted in a staggering $4 billion loss in market value. Reports suggest that Davis and other key figures behind the project made over $107 million before the token’s implosion. Furthermore, Davis allegedly claimed to have political influence over Argentine President Javier Milei, which has added to the controversy surrounding him.

Despite these allegations, Davis has denied any wrongdoing. During an interview with YouTube investigator Stephen Findeisen, known as “Coffeezilla,” he downplayed the collapse of the Libra token as a business failure rather than a fraudulent act.

Dalbon, however, is pushing for legal action, having submitted his request to the lead prosecutor, Eduardo Taiano, and Judge María Servini. He argued that Davis is a flight risk, citing his financial resources and international residency, which could allow him to evade legal proceedings and hinder the investigation. Dalbon’s call for an international arrest warrant emphasizes the severity of the situation, given the scale of investor losses.

In addition to Dalbon’s request, efforts to freeze over $100 million allegedly obtained by the Libra creators are already underway, with Prosecutor Taiano focusing on gathering digital evidence related to the scandal.
